Xmas Panel

Originally drawn and inked in December 09. Painted in April.

Right, well this piece was done on some very textured watercolor paper, Arches I think. The panel measures about 8×14. I should really go over the gutters with some zinc white but things have been busy. I haven’t picked up a brush for a week now so just to keep things rolling along today and tomorrow we’ll look at the full pages the recent panels have come from. After that I m not sure but I’ll try to get something together by then.

I think I’ve reached the limits of what the earlier cheaper paper can hold. I can’t get it to hold more color. I’m gonna finish off the guuduns and move on to the bristol board works.
