Lake Geneva, Il. Gump! the statue and the end of the Gump Pilgrimage

Here you can see the Google street view of the Gump statue which overlooks Lake Geneva.

The statue was given to Sidney by the Chicago Trib and it looked over the lake there until his death.

The statue was moved t0 Flatiron Park after his death. It was torn down during a riot in the 60’s but it was fixed.
