No time to ink this weekend as this is THE MOST IMPORTANT HOLIDAY OF THE SEASON. Plenty of sketches finished just no time to lay down the ink. Here is a stream of pictures to satisfy anyone who is not trick or treating this gusty ‘tober eve.Sheathed Sword Swipe Scam Spoiled by Sentient Scarf

Took my daughter to her first concert last night. No way I was gonna let her go to some lame stadium rock gig for her first. Instead it was a record release party held at the store/venue more commonly known as Culture Shock. I would have more pictures of the concert itself but the little sprite got a bit freaked out when she witnessed moshing for the first time. Inoculation Successful!
Picked up this sweet album that I hadn’t heard forever from there. I’ve been playing it since. Sounds much better now than it did back then.Pop Will Eat Itself: Box Frenzy

If you are commenting from a (.ru) addy you are going straight into the spam bin. It is not my choice it is my filter’s choice. You should get a nice gmail account or something from Pravda like I have. then you can maybe translate your cyrillian script comments that are not about cialis or viagra.
I’m just saying …
I was just thinking about this series. For some reason I thought it had been put out by Eclipse but no, it was Fantagraphics. Written by Jan Strnad and art by Dennis Fujitake.
The three dimensionality of Dettmer’s sculpturalized books reminds us of how the internet and the computer screen tend to flatten images, obliterating shadow and fine detail and making hand-drawn efforts largely irrelevant. *Claudine Ise
I have been enjoying these podcasts. An hour or so of art talk is not for everyone but it is definitely for me.
